Hello, I’m Diane.

diane diegor blogger

I grew up on a small farm in rural Nova Scotia, but I’ve always had a love of other cultures, and a love of travel. So far I have made it to 14 countries, and counting.

Although I enjoy visiting tourist attractions, I find the real highlights of a trip are often found while traveling off the beaten path.

I also have a soft spot for animals. In fact, my dog Riker came from the streets of Nicaragua.

  1. You need to go to Cape Canaveral, Florida to the Space Center, and see the giant nest a mated pair of eagles have built there and use annually. They have been using that same nest for many years. The Space Center has live cameras aimed at that nest 24/7.

  2. In your article about monogamous animals, you left out doves sometimes called mourning doves which mate for life.
