1. Entebbe International Airport

The biggest airport in Uganda, Entebbe International Airport is located about 25 miles (40 km) southwest of the capital city of Kampala.

Not only is it a civilian airport, but it is also used by the Ugandan military.

It also serves as the country’s only international airport. Hoima, or Kabaale, International Airport is currently under construction, which is why it’s excluded from this list.

2. Gulu Airport

An airport in the Northern Region of Uganda, Gulu Airport is located about 190 miles (306 km) north of Entebbe by air.

In 2019, plans have been made to upgrade the airport to international standards. The other airport to be upgraded is Mbarara (Nyakisharara) Airport, #15 on this list.
